Ethnic Germans in Eastern Europe : are there any, still?

I don't know for the rest of Eastern European countries, but there are some in Russia. I personally know a guy who is ethnically German, his family came to Russia in the middle of the 19th cent. Plus, there are some rather famous Russian people of German decent Like:

By the way, my great-great-grandfather was German, he came to Russia in the of the 19th cent. and married a Russian woman.
