Look at pictures of Mike Ditka, Zbigniew Bzerzhinski and other men of Polish descent for a "typical" Polish look. Bela Lugosi had a fairly typical look for Hungarian men. Czechs looks like Germans who aren't that muscular. Vladimir Putin isn't Czech but he could pass for one easily. Leonid Brezhnev could never pass for Czech - his look is Russian plain through. For a typical Munich look, get a photo of LA police detective Mark Furman.
Yes, I'm sure you know people who do *not* meet the criteria. |

Cheekbones. This girl looks pretty Czech to me, and she's got the cheekbones:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/switch/slink/images/377x212/i_love_my/cheekbones.jpg It really depends on what PART of Eastern Europe you're in. Different countries have different looks, even within themselves, and there are no distinct facial features that I could name besides the cheekbones. But, I've always felt I was easily identifiable as Slovak because of my nose, it's just got that look. |
