Traditionally, the eastern "border" of Europe has been the Ural Mountains, the Volga River, the Caspian Sea, the Caucasus Mountains, the Black Sea, and the Bosporus/Dardenelles Strait. That being the case, Romania and Ukraine are indisputably in Europe and irrelevant to your case. Russia extends beyond the Urals and the Volga and Turkey is mainly in Asia with a small piece on the west side of the Bosporus/Dardenelles. You must use Russia and Turkey as your examples.
