Well in Romanian "albine" means "bees" and "albina" (with a little accent on the "a") means "bee." However, I really haven't met anybody from Romania with that name...so I don't think it would be a popular choice.

Albina as a feminine name (and Albino as masculine) is present in Italy, Poland, and Slovenia as a given name, meaning "white" or "bright". The male variant exists in Scandinavia, and Slovenia. In Estonia, France, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, and Sweden March 1 is Albina's Name day, but the name itself is not so popular, and since your question is only about Eastern Europe, that leaves Slovenia as the only choice.
