Eastern Europe or Southern Europe for a 2 week vacation?

I've been to north western europe twice. My wife and I love traveling throught Europe, where should we go next? We are currently thinking about either Southern or Eastern Europe. What do you think?

Well, southern Europe can be expensive whereas the East is not. I know many Germans (and other Europeans) that travel to Croatia because it has the atmosphere and ammenities of Southern Europe but the prices of Eastern Europe.

Answering ur questions though, Why not go somewhere outside europe? try the middle east , try countries in north africa, specifically try United Arab Emirates in the middle east, or Tunisia, Morroco or Egypt in north africa,, i promise u won't regret it:)

Well, why don't you try south-eastern Europe. For example Serbia. It's VERY cheap, people are very pleasant and are willing to help you, there are many places to visit throughout whole Serbia, not its capital, Belgrade, only. Do you know that Belgrade is renowned to be leading city of south-eastern Europe, by Times?
