Hmm. It's a shame some people have to use someone else's misfortune for their own selfish gain. Posting your personal travel site, is way out of line, Sean.
CP, on one hand I'm sorry to hear that you have to go to Cedars. On the other, it's one of the best in the country. Unfortunately, it's also right in the middle of a popular tourist area in the middle of the tourist season.
The best advice I can offer is to try the Beverly Terrace Hotel, which is within walking distance of Cedars, as well as the Sunset Strip. It's less expensive than the other hotels in the area. It's an older motel-type property, and could fit the bill. I hope that $100 wasn't your total daily budget, and is just for hotel, because that's the price range of this hotel. Perhaps you could call the hotel and arrange a long term rate. Or maybe call Cedars Oncology Services and see if they have some sort of arrangements for lodging in the area.
In the meantime, maybe you'll have enough strength to take in the local sights. You're close to the Sunset Strip, and a short ride from the sights in Hollywood.
In the words of Tommy Trojan: Fight on, CP, Fight on.
