will travel to shanghai. need suggestions of budget hotel pref in business district.?

i need suggestions of budget hotels in shangai. preferable but not limited to hotels within the business district. if it is not in the business district, it should be accessible to/from the business district.

I like to stay in holiday-inns, there are 2 of them right in the middle of town. The Great wall and the Vista. They are close to every where and if you book in advance there is a early booking discount. Its about 350RMB -700RMB depending on the time of year. You will get great service and a hotel you can trust.

The Holiday Inns are too expensive. Try <www.motel168.com>. These motels are all over Shanghai, are clean, convenient, and cheap (aound RMB 250 per night). Most have an attached Merrylin Restaurant.

I agree with Rick, I have had people stay in the 168 motels when they come to Shanghai, it is not fancy by any means but they work
