I'm a little confused. If you want to travel by yourself but need help being taken care of then you can't really travel by yourself. You can hire someone to be a companion. No hotel that I know of would provide in depth services to a disabled person other than what is required by the ADA (if traveling in the US). The legal ramifications, should something go wrong, could be disastrous for the establishment unless they were specifically licensed.

I'm sure there are, but if you can't take care of yourself, why would you want to travel alone?

I would contact the Independant Living center in the area you are traveling to they would probably have a list of agency's or individuals with experience in helping people with disabilities. I know of a place in Toledod Ohio check out their website they know an agency that has trips designed for people with disabilities that are 100% accessible. the website is
www.abilitycenter.org
or you can call them at 1-866-885-5733
ask them if they know of a local independant living center in the area of travel they will also know the name of the company that has the 100% accessible trips good luck if you were traveling here i could help you out ive been doing Assisted care for indiviuals with disabilites for 10 years.

Do you mean travel by yourself but have someone to take care of you at the hotel or whatever.

You could try contacting the hotel you plan to stay in and ask if there is any extra services they are willing to provide or you could ask them what disability care agencies are in the area.

You then call the disability care agencies and enquire if they can assist you while you are on your holiday.

Some people in wheelchairs can get themselves into a car and drive; but not clean their homes in certain areas.
Someone might have a slight disability that they have to use a bus/plane/train to get somewhere; but still need help in another area.

There are travel companies geared to people with disabilities.

There are travel companions you can hire to go on vacation with you.

There are some resorts geared to people with disabilities who have staff trained to help people. There is one is Mexico that was build as a totally accessible resort that includes a personal care attendant in the cost.
