From what I just saw it looks like a host agency. Host agencies generally provide home based travel agents the means in which to sell travel. There are many host agencies out there that promise you the chance to make big money but in reality they just want yours so if you interested in becoming a travel agent do your research and choose a host agency carefully. A great source for finding a host agency is OSSN. Outside Sales Support Network for travel agents. www.ossn.com
Selling travel is a lot of work and you only receive compensation from the travel suppliers when someone books their vacation through your agency. Generally you receive your compensation 30 days after the client has completed their vacation. So if they book something 9 months from now...you guessed it you just worked your rear-end off only to get paid 10 months later. On average you may only book one vacation for every ten you research. That adds up to several unpaid hours. While I can't speak for all travel agencies...many do not charge a research fee and they don't mark up the prices. Excluding air booking fees. In fact using a travel agency can save you money. So be kind to your travel agent and recognize those who d0d a great job for you by booking with them.
