I know that you can make a bid on www.priceline.com .
But when I was pricing my cruise last month, I found several different prices from various sites (for the same cruise).
So I decided to contact the cruise line directly and asked the customer service rep if they would match a price that I found online?
The cruise rep informed me that the other companies have to match 'their' prices.
So, bottom line is- just go directly to the source!
Good Luck, have fun..

cruises only, expedia, what I do is look on vacationstogo.com for the best price then I go to cruises only and expedia and then I call the 800 # of the 1st company to get a quote with a name hold. Then I call the second company and also get a quote then I tell the most expensive one about the least expensive one to get the best price. remember though they are all owned by the same company. sometimes just getting another person to answer the phone is the way to go.

There maybe many things to look out for when either bidding or buying a cruise online. The best thing to do is contact a cruise travel specialist and book with them. These people can give you the same great price and give you a level of service as well. Some online sites have hidden fees or costs. Do you know if taxes and port charges are included? Do you have to pay for your own transportation from airport to the port? Who do you contact if something goes wrong and will an online site being able to fix it? All these things are why it is important to shop online but book with a person.
