Skip the cruise. Most are so packed with people that you get absolutely no privacy. Europe is great, but it would depend on where in Europe you were planning to visit. There is a lot to do and see in Europe and you might feel "obligated" to spend most of your time sight seeing. Hawaii is beautiful and romantic- you can't go wrong. Plus you want to relax after the stress of a wedding. so, relax and enjoy each other- make the honeymoon last as long as possible!

Does it matter? - Me on my honeymoon . . . I went to San Diego . . . spent a week at a cottage at the beach . . . then to a cruise to Vancouver . . . and spent a week there . . . then to the Philippines . . . where we had a second wedding for her family (because they couldn't be there) . . . then another week in Bora . . . in a small buhay kubo for two.

Ever been to the Caribbean? In particular Tobago...it's the ideal honeymoon tourist destination. Check out http://www.insandoutstt.com/ for a listing of resorts that might interest you both. There's culture, spanning a two-week period from mid July to early August, there is the annual Tobago Heritage Festival, eco-tourism, water sports especially with the exotic sandy beaches and the Buccoo Reef and historical sites, Tobago having a very colorful history as reminded by the many forts you can visit. You can also spend some time in the larger twin island of Trinidad. Check out http://www.visittnt.com/default.asp for more info on Trinidad and Tobago and what we have to offer.
