Wow what racism. I'm white, Live in New Mexico. I would honestly say that depends on a few things. Are you male or female? Do you speak spanish? Are you traveling alone or with someone? If you are male and you speak spanish..you will be fine. If you are a female and whether or not you speak spanish i would not travel alone. It also depends on where you are travelling to. My Husband is from Juarez. I understand spanish but am not comfortable speaking it. I would not travel ther by myself or with young children. It can be dangerous for women travelling to mexico. If you are a female i would always travel with someone you trust that speaks spanish. If you are of mexican origin you will be alot more safe than if you are american like me.
