Do illegal immigrants from Mexico & Central America deserve affirmative action?

They will get it if they are legalized & become citizens.

No I don't believe so. But it appears George Bush, and Congress have decided for us. Maybe if we could help change the government of Mexico for the better they would stay. I dunno, I'm just looking for a solution.

Too many people blame affirmative action for not getting the job they wanted rather than accepting the fact that they simply were not good enough.

They all deserve the same thing-a seat on the bus that gets them the hell out of this country. Criminal Aliens need to be dealt with accordingly.

All people, regardless of nationality, deserve to be treated fairly, which is the point of affirmative action. You don't "earn" fair treatment, there isn't any "deserve" about it.
Nearly everyone in America today is descended from an immigrant of some sort. We took in Irish, Italians, Jews, Scandinavians, people from India, Hispanics, and all have become valuable and contributing citizens. It's just the Mexicans' turn, that's all. In 15 years it will be some other group.
