Is it still possible to travel to Mexico with a Criminal Record?

We have a wedding planned and my boyfriend made a stupid mistake. He's never done anything before and I'm worried that we may have to reschedule the wedding. Please help me with answers if you can... I'm checking out all these websites but there doesn't seem to be a staright answer.

According to http://www.theskilledtraveler.com ,yes he can travel to Mexico, as long has he does not have a travel restriction(flight risk is how it is often referred) placed upon him by the courts.

The only way your b/f wouldnl't be able to go to another Country is if he is a felon.

If he gets a misdemeanor on his record, he would still be able to go into another Country.
