Well if they make Central America part of the Conmebol....It would only leave Mexico, Canada, and The United States to play against Each other! I know we would still have the Caribbean teams but still! I think it would benefit the Central American teams because they could only grow from playing with teams like Chile, Columbia, Brazil, and Argentina!
So on paper it looks good but in reality, It would leave the North American Teams with little competition and no effort would be placed to go into the World Cup! |

In many schools in the United States, Mexico is credited as a Central American country. If you count Mexico as a Central American country it would benefit Mexico because it challenges the players against emerging South American countries like Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Chile and of course; Peru, Argentina, and Brazil. But disregarding Mexico, countries like El Salvador, Honduras, Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Panama would have more of a difficult time going to a World Cup, besides, if this were to happen the Gold Cup would become very boring if the only teams were U.S, Cuba, Canada and Mexico.
