Like here in the USA?
Or would the Mexican police take the workers by force from the church? http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/chi-ap-ia-agriprocessorsrai,0,3851984.story |

Catholic churches in Mexico do not assist illegal aliens in Mexico, and do not give them sanctuary -- it is not allowed. And the churches know that if they violate Mexican law, Mexico will do something about it.
Zero tolerance for immigration-law violators. Zero tolerance for aiding & abetting illegal aliens. Good policy. Unfortunately, the Mexican govt screams bloody murder if we do the same to Mexican citizens as Mexicans do to others (including Americans, if they violated any Mexican immigration laws). |

Very few make it past Mexico's southern border. Mexico is brutal to their Central and South American neighbors.
If some made it into the churches, they would be safe for a time, but if the numbers grew to be more than a few, I'm sure the authorities would go in and arrest them. |

I'm almost certain that the Mexican police would take them by force.
When we consider our policy of how to police our southern border, we should take a page from the Mexican government's manual and use the same methods and techniques they use on their southern border. But the Mexican government would be up in arms if we did that, they would declare us to be too inhumane. |
