can i buy a plane ticket here in the U.S. for somebody to travel in mexico?

I live here in the United States and my husband is currently in Mexico, and he needs to travel from one state to another in Mexico. My question is can I buy his ticket from the here where I am with my credit card and give him the confirmation number and when he gets to the airport in mexico, can he just give the confirmation number and be able to board the plane? thanks to anyone that answers!!!!

What you want to buy is called a "pre-paid ticket advisement", or a "PTA".
It allows you to buy a ticket for someone (your Husband) and the ticket will be waiting for him at the counter where he checks in to board his flight. You will get a confirmation number to provide him, but you will not get the ticket, it will be in the computer system waiting for him to claim it at the ticket counter at the airport.

I'm not sure but u can try buying E-Ticket.
Or meaby the more easy way is that u give him ur credit card number so he can buy it .
