It would make things a whole lot easier if you had one.

Passports are currently required to FLY to and from Mexico. They will not be required to travel to and from Mexico by LAND and SEA until a "later' date which has not yet been set but which will be later than next summer. See site below and read top half of the page carefully for the current info. this was updated by the State Dep't one week ago.

I don't know.
But you should be asked for your passport. If Mexicans are asked for their passport in ordered to come to the US, You all should have your passport to go to Mexico also. Or who do you think you are?

You may not need one to go to Mexico but If you don't have proof of citizenship you may not get back into the Excited States

yes u need a passport. these are new regulations that went into affect recently. if you are traveling within 11 days of your departure dat you can go directly to a passport agncy building but you will need an admittance appointment with a conformation number. other wise go to the us post office and fill out the form and submitt you necessary documents.
