the take off is the funnest part. it feels like a ride at an amusement park. the only bad part about flying is the uncomfortable seats, lack of legroom, and those annoying attendant who won't let you sleep so they can offer you some tomato juice. if you are riding first class then there is nothing to worry about.

Chew some gum when you are taking off and landing. The change in pressure can cause your ears to feel funny. Gum can help that. Bring something to read so you are not bored and a snack because they really dont feed you on the plane. Relax and enjoy the ride. If you have never been on a plane before, try to sit by the window so you can see. Also, if you have to switch planes or a nervous about navigating the airport ask the airline for assistance. They usually have special services to assist younger passengers. Have fun and use sun block in Mexico!

well... the first time i travelled on a plane by myself was when i was 10, i was visiting my grandparents. Now, I fly by myself like 4 times a year. The first 3 things i noticed were...
1. The flight attendance get really annoying 2. Some people are really nice 3. Some people treat you like a child Dont forget to pack lots of gum and magazines! |

Due just chill everything will be cool. I've flown alone from New York to Israel when I was 12 on TWA they even bumped me to first class cause the flight attendant needed to watch me. I started flying alone when I was 6. I always like the window seat. Now that I'm in my 20s I love to fly.
When you takeoff you need to think about where you will be when you land...Mexico. Enjoy the music and movie bring your own CD Player or portable DVD player and before you know it you will be there. |
