central america trip?

I have a trip planned to Mexico, Guatemala and possibly Belize. It will be two weeks long. We plan on staying at inexpensive hotels and doing low cost things like visiting caverns, temples, etc. How much money do you think I will need, not including plane ticket?

Your best bet is to try to talk to a few travel agents for an estimate of cost. Then average in your extras like food and items you may want to spend for.

Take anywhere from $100.00 - to $150.00 for each day of your travels or approximately $1,500.00 to $2,2500 to be safe.

It is always better to have more than sufficient then not!

When I go to Costa Rica I always take at least $150.00 per day to cover everything and usually I have money to bring back with me!
