Would it be safe to bring an ipod to mexico if I'm going to be travelling on buses there?

Well it depends on which areas are you getting to but it is not like everybody in mexico is a criminal of course, so as in any other case you shouldn't listen to it while travelling on buses (it aint neccesary is it? lol) So if you are coming as a tourist i dont think that you have time to listening to your ipod, there are a bunch of stuff to do in mexico city IMAO.

It should be fine. Mexicans are generally honest and friendly. Just keep an eye on it, like you would in any part of the world and you'll be ok.

Also, have a look around you on the bus: You'll probably notice that some Mexicans are using their iPods as well.
