Ok.. I looked at a trip on Expedia yesterday and it was $2,100 for 2 people.
Today I look at it and it's almost $2,500 for the exact same thing. Is this a weekend thing? I can't afford it until Monday. Is there a "cheaper" day to book?? Help.. I'm so confused!! |

It doesn't have so much to do with the day of the week, as it does for demand. If interest in a certain flight, or package, is low, the airlines or tour companies will often drop the price in hopes of moving a few seats, or packages. As soon as those few sell, then up goes the price. This scenario could repeat itself, or may not happen again for that particular trip. In fact, if demand gets higher, the price could go up even more.
