Yes...the states are requiring you to carry a passport as a form of ID when flying out of a direct state to get back into your home state

Yes. You need a passport to travel anywhere out of the country.

Yes--the countries in the Caribbean are foreign nations, so you need a passport like you would going to any foreign nation.

Yes, unless you're traveling by boat. But they're going to change that sometime after the first of the year '08.
But don't worry -- you can get a passport in just a few weeks if you act now.
