Bahamas. Its the closet and has tons of flights from the U.S. If not that, try Cancun.

best deals are probably going to be found for going to Freeport, Bahamas. If you've never been to the caribbean before, you might find Freeport interesting.

airfares to nassau, bahamas and to cancun, mexico are usually cheaper than elsewhere in the caribbean. Next would probably be dominican republic, puerto rico, jamaica, and st thomas (usvi).

Panama is really cheap and nice holiday!!

Check out a hotel called Decamaron Hotel it is an all inclusive resort
4 stars and right on the beach!! Around 2 hour drive from the main city which is called Panama city.
Also another Island which is very inexpensive is San Andres, Columbia. It is located close to Costa Rica but it is part of Columbia. Look into a hotel called the Maryland Hotel- It is also all inclusive resort, small hotel 3 stars and very clean and comforatable. Also very inexpensive!!

You will be very surprised at the prices!!
