Traveling to the Caribbean during pregnancy tips?

I have tot ravel next with for my grandfathers funeral (I will be 20 weeks 3 days when I fly) however there are mosquitos etc :( I will contact my dr but was wondering if anyone traveled to a warmer climate while pregnant and how safe is it in terms of if I get bit by a mosquito. Sorry if it sounds dumb but I don't want anything to harm my baby :)

Not a dumb question. I would find out from your Dr if you can use any kind of mosquito repellent.

I would also be careful of what you eat while you are there. Other countries do not prepare food the way we do, you do not want to get food poisoning.
