Default My boyfriend travels internationally on business, and I get to go too. What should I do with my days?

I don't really like to shop, and I'm a bit tired of going to the zoo or the aquarium. There must be woman who travel with their husbands all the time. What do you do while they are in meetings all day? No kids, so it's just me.

Try to learn about their language and culture, or maybe take photos and write a book about your travels.

Go sight-seeing. My friend is in the same situation and loves to just walk around, go shopping, stop for a drink or dessert, go to points of interest. Keep a journal, you may forget all of the places you've been to.

Go site see!!! I'm sure there are so many places to see, and it does not have to be the zoo.

I spent 7 years in the Navy and traveled all over the world. These are memories I will always treasure. Go and check out everything there is to offer in each country. The food, the people, the history, and the country itself. You won't ever be sorry. I'm envious of you.

Start reading lots of books, take a course on line that betters your education, find different tours you can take while in these beautiful cities. Whatever you do, don't flirt with people in a sexual manner and don't cheat or put yourself in situations that will tempt you to cheat.

Get a guidebook for the area you are going to. You don't have to limit yourself to the obvious things like the zoo and acquarium. Just pretend you were traveling by yourself and came to this city. What would a visitor do there? Are there important buildings? Old, curious neighborhoods? Unusual restaurants to seek out? Great views? Every city has something unique. Find out what it is, and then you can even become your boyfriend's personal tourist guide.

If you find a great restaurant and have lunch there, bring your boyfriend back for dinner the next day. Or take him to see the view from the top of a tall building. Or walk together through that area with the crooked streets. He probably doesn't get to do much of that stuff himself, since he is busy with his business, so this is a great opportunity for both of you. Good luck!!
