Default Home based Travel Businesses?

I have been looking into starting a home based travel business, and was wondering if anyone knows anything about starting one. I have read articles on at least three of them which are YTB, Coastal Vacations and Platinum Destination, has anyone ever heard of any of them, and are they any good and are there any good ones?
And does anyone have any recommendations as to what would be a good home based business?

I have a friend in YTB...he likes it but says that hotels and airlines aren't paying as much comission lately...just cruises are paying a decent amount. apparantly you can get some good deals though, and, as with any NM company, if you build a large group and are a good leader, there's always potential for a good income!

I can tell you that if you do your due diligence, researching YTB, you will be very impressed with this company. There are a lot of copycats out there- save some time, and look at YTB first

You will spend way more money than you will ever make in travel industry. In Network Marketing the very first thing you should be looking for is a product or service that is NOT available in stores or from any other source.

Just have a look in your Yellow pages how many Travel Agencies you will be competing with and if those deals offered YTB, CV and PD were so magnificent, all these Travel Agencies would be your prime prospects to sign up.

I doubt any one of them will. Try calling a few of them before you waste your money.
