I would say no because of the gasoline situation. I'm sure many highway motels will be going out of business this summer if the high price of gas keeps going up.

There have been several reports of airlines closing down because of the rising gasoline prices, and in addition MUCH fewer people are traveling (by plane) nowadays, which probably means fewer tourists

I don't think so. Gas prices are going to keep going up for a while, which will affect travel by car and by plane. Also, the economy isn't doing well in other areas so a lot of people are either eliminating their travel plans altogether, or they're scaling them way back.

It's not as glamorous as one might think. It's like being in real estate the travel industry has it's ups and downs to worry about also.
