I'm travelling on a relatively low budget to geneva and was looking for relatively good accommodation!?

i'm travelling in may to geneva and was wondering does anybody know of any hostels, hotels, b&b's within the price range of £0-50 per person per night. they must preferably be in or quite near the centre of geneva.
i was also wondering about the average temperature for that time of year.
does anybody have any personal recommendations?! cheers
