I am travelling thru europe on a budget between late aug to late sept 2008

Is it wise to book flights and acomodation now or is it possible/cheaper to wait a bit closer and while we are travelling, i dont want things to book out obviously, we are going to barcelona, ibiza,italy,greek islands, prague and budapest ... thanks as much info as poss is appreciated

I always fly to the greek island Crete. Its where i met my husband. We're going back again in august. I only ever book one way. www.xl.com is the best....check it out cos i think they go to ibiza too. and jet2.com looks good but nvr tried it. with xl.com i have found to fly to greece cheapest, and its better if u wait until closer the date and then save loads. I'm flying with www.flythomascook.com i found really cheap one way flights to crete. sometimes buying return costs a fortune. hopefully helpful x

Book only your flights to and from Europe. For the rest, just book it as you go along, so you'll have the freedom to change your schedule. Unless you are looking for specific hotels, there's no problem finding places to stay at the last minute in any of those places.
