well, the us is a big country, that question is a little too broad.. new york is a cool place to visit, and they have hotels for as cheap as 30/night.. california is more expensive, but a lot prettier in my opinion..if you like warmth and beaches, id say go to florida.. you really have to decide for yourself where you want to go.. in every city youre gonna find cheap, decent hotels though. bring a camera!

You can't visit our big, beautiful country in a short period. Since you are on tight budget, so stay at Motel 6, eat at Subway( food chain) or chinese restaurant, visit NYC or California( LA or SF), buy a laptop computer and a nice digital camera( much cheaper tan euro, bring passport and credit card and some personal belongs, that is, enjoy your visit.

I think I can answer the first question ('*what hotel would u stay in and what hotel wouldn't u stay in?')
You can choose from a list of good hotels at www.Hotels.bz You can also make online reservations there-- it saves time and money Hope this helps and good luck on your trip!
