At NYC Visitor Company Center at 7th Av/53rd St, Times Sq (east side of Broadway/47th St), and inside Grand Central Terminal, you could ask for copy of free NYC Guide Booklet. Mostly on backpage, there's ad and coupons that save you money. It also list many free places or suggested admission (means pay what you wish).
Visitior Center has many coupons/deals. Just remember, only MetroCard fare are hiking up, however MetroCard give you great deal of discount like two-for admission, % off at participating attractions/museums. Or google search "NYC Coupons" and it list all the NYC Coupons for all you mention. Enjoy the visit like $9.99 Show!! ($9.99 show is NYC TV on WNYE-TV that hosts try do anything with under $9.99 Budget.) |

Here's a few locals tips.
1) Go to the visitor center. They have a tourist coupon book and will be able to tell you about what is going on when you're here. Things like Restaurant Week when you'll be able to get a full meal at a good restaurant for $20 and Spa week. These kinds of things go on all year long. 2) TKTS - 1/2 price Broadway tickets (same day). There are 2 stands, one in time square and one at the Seaport. 3) Get the entertainment book for NYC. It's $20 but will have coupons. Then register online for more deals. 4) Some museums have free days, some are First Saturdays or First Sundays, some are by "donation", most have student discounts. If you work or volunteer at another museum you will most likely get in free (bring ID). 5) Check out the NYC websites nycvisit.com and nyc.gov for tourist information and other good stuff to know. 6) Don't forget to use the concierge desk at your hotel - they have a lot of useful information. |

you defiantly want to check out SkyAuction.com. They provide discount dining certificates and complimentary orchestra tickets to many broadway shows. I have used them lots of times and seen some good shows. You can't find a better site then this. Here was the link if interested:
