My b.friend and I are going to Europe and wish to visit, on March/April for 1 month, a cheeeap budget: London, Edinburgh, Paris (and Mont Saint Michel), Rome and Prague, Venice and Berlin.
Do you think 30 USD (15pounds or 17 euros aprox) are enough (cheap I know but still enough) for food, some paid attraction and something little else? . Accommodation is not included in the 30USD/day budget. Sorry I didnt mention: its 30USD/day each (30 me and 30 my b-friend) :) And what are the costs of transport (from airports and in the city itself) ? |

30 USD/day for 2 people ...
that's really really not enough! for one meal (sandwich only) plus drink - 1 person = 5 € ticket to the museum or something like that 1 person = € 15 for one glass of beer 1 person € 2,5 so you can start to count ! but it's really really not enough for 2 person per day ! good luck |

If you stay in hostels where you can do your own cooking, buy the cheapest foodstuffs, sight-see by walking around the sights rather than go in them, drink tap water you carry with you all day, have all your trains pre-paid, (specially when you fly from city to city and need transport to and from the airports, that can easily cost 17 euros per person for a single trip,) and so on, you can manage.
But better have some more money so you can enjoy the trip. The budget for self catering in these towns is about 10 euro per person per day when buying for a family, when buying smaller amounts you pay more. |

That would be very very little for two people. A single attraction would cost at least that much. In London, the Tower is £13 each. A burger in BurgerKing is about £6. A beer is £3-4. There are many free attractions in London and other cities. If you buy food in a supermarket and can cook or prepare it somewhere, then you will survive.
I recommend at least twice that much. Or maybe skip western Europe and spend your time in the cheaper east. |

It's not enough. I always say, if I don't have enough money that I can't enjoy it, I stay at home. I would suggest to wait till you have little more, what if something happens? Not that I want something to happen, I just think what if...???
But if you go, you can do this. London is the the most expensive city from what you have named. So, you can spend like 50 USD and than spent little less in Prague, which is not that expensive. |

London and Paris are very expensive so I don't think 17 euro per day will be enough. You need at least 50 and that's even after you buy the transportation ticket. Things are generally expensive in the big cities especially when you are heading up north (Scandinavian countries are very expensive).
The cheapest thing you can do is to fill your water bottle from tap water and eat home-made sandwich (you make yourself by buying the ingredients in the supermarket), even that you will still end up spending like approx 30-40 eur per day. |
