Has anyone ever gotten a last minute deal South on Christmas week? I live in Toronto and it is freezing and I need to get away. I am looking to go to Mexico or Dominican or something near those two countries. Can't be Cuba as my husband does not have a passport. It has to be all inclusive. It would be 2 adults and 2 kids under 12.
If you could tell me which airline you got it from and how quickly you had to fly, I would really appreciate it. Thank you. we all have Canadian Citizen cards. I heard that my husband is fine if he travels straight to these counties and does not stop in the States and have a connecting flight. We go to the States all the time with just our Canadian Citizen cards but do not take flights from in there. Cuba definitely needs a passport but D.Republic and Mexico do not. My husband does have a Mexican passport. He is from there. Thank you to everyone that answers just wanted to give more info. we can't fly out of the States because my husband would need a passport. I know those rules I would like to know if anyone had success getting a last minute special during Christmas. |

I believe you will need a passport to go into Mexico or the Dominican Republic.... heck, in 2 weeks, we will need a passport just to get from USA to CANADA... If you were planing not to be back until after New Years, you WILL need a passport definitely.....(your husband also)...

You will have to fly out of Buffalo because if you fly out of Toronto you will all need passports
Even out of Buffalo you need government issued photo I.D and Canadian birth certificates. Christmas is one of the most expensive times to travel but just go to a site like itravel2000 and see what is left. Happy Holidays |
