Try the link below for hotels and also attractions. There is a lot to do in Boston but it depends on what you like. You will get an idea from this site. Quincy Market is close to everything and Boston is a very friendly walking city to lots of historical points.
Typical points of interest are the Boston Common, Newbury Street for shopping as well as the Copley Place Mall but they are pricey. Legal Seafoods is a nice restaurant. The freedom trail and the North End for dining is great and Mike's pastry is a hot spot. The aquarium, Boston Tea Party Ship, Children's Museum and the Museum of Science are other points of interest. The Top of the Prudential tower for dining or a drink is also nice. You can visit the Gardener's Museum, The Museum of Fine Arts and the JFK Library. You can see great shows in the theater district and comedy shows. The Medival Manor is a nice take also. You can also visit a number of Irish pubs and the Boston Brewery if that is of interest to you. Take in lunch at the Cheers Bar near the Boston Common. It is touristy. The Boston Duck Tours are popular or even a trolley tour. Take a look at a map and choose your points of interests pertaining to your age group and whether or not you have children. You can also go into Cambridge or take a walk along the Charles. Maybe take in a free concert at the Hatchshell. http://www.bostonhotelservice.com/quincy_market/ |

When are you going?
Depending on the season, hotel prices vary. If you're going sometime this summer, hotel prices sky-rocket so you may end up on the outskirts of boston like Salem, Braintree, Waltham, Weslley for better reasonable hotels. I sugguest checking out these links. Good Luck! |
