Would've slipped in something bout Ted hitting .406 in 41 but its good other than that. What was the song after the BUckner error?

History of the Red Sux

They won five championships, went on a drought for 86 years with no championships while New York Yankees were winning year after year..but they are getting a little bit of joy before they go back into another 86 year drought soon

Yeah, the Sox are really hitting a dry spell. 2 world championships in the last 4 years and an 8 game WS winning streak. Times sure are lean for the Sox.

Very nice. I happened to be a Mets fan living in Boston in '86. I will always remember Mookie Wilson's hit and Buckner's error. What I was wondering, and maybe this should be posted as a question is whether Buckner really shouldn't be blamed. Mookie was the fastest player on the Mets and I think Buckner took his eye off the ball because the pitcher (whose name I can't remember) hadn't run quickly enough to cover first or he ran just slow enough to cause Buckner to screw up the play.

I have my reasons but I became a Sox fan in 2002/2003, I didn't leave the Mets as much as they left me.
