Actually you can make a case that the Celtics did not have salary restrictions back then thus making it not a big deal. Their championships were overrated if you ask me. Celtics would never be able to keep that team of hall of famers together of all those years in todays NBA. Compared to today that equals about 3 championships in a row.

celtics are done the are getting older and will eventually have rondo and perkins as their main players, good luck.
