What are some things to do in Boston near Logan International Airport?

I will be coming into town on a Friday early morning and my flight does not leave until 2pm. What can I do near the airport to see a few sights? It will be my first time in town.
Early on Friday means around 7am.

You can take the Blue line downtown. Go to Fanuel Hall marketplace like all the other tourists, it's fun and they have a mock Cheers to eat at.
There is not much to do right near the airport unless you want to work out at the Marriot.

How early is "early" on Friday morning????.

You'll want to take the Subway for transportation. It's simple and understandable so it's the best way to travel in my opinion. In Boston there is the New England Aquarium, Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market, Boston Common, Public Gardens, Chinatown, Museum of Science, Museum of Fine Arts, there's the Freedom Trail and waterfront and wharfs as well.
