Boston is a bit tougher in the winter as it is pretty bitter cold. There are things to do though, Go to a basketball game, go see some of the sights in the city. the liberty trail is a nice walk but if it is snowing I am not sure it would be all that much fun. Another thing to consider is little Italy. If all else fails, you can go there to eat :)

Well you can still see all the regular tourist attractions, but keep in mind it will be very cold, and possibly snowy! The Nutcracker is a Boston tradition, if you can try to get tickets. Also, the Radio City Christmas Show comes to the Wang Theater. In the public gardens you can see the Christmas Tree, and the Ice Sculptures which will be there to prepare for the New Year's Eve celebration. There used to be a place called the Enchanged Village, which was a Holiday Village you could walk through and it was fun for kids, but I don't know if it still exsists. Make sure to go out ice skating on Frog Pond!

* Go to the Italian north end and see all the lights and fesitivites and eat wonderful food
* Go ice skating at Frog Pond in the Boston Common
* Drink Manhattans at the ritz bar, overlooking the Public Garden
* Walk down Charles street and poke in all the shops
* Eat Tapas and drink delicious wine in the South End at Toro.
* Go to Harvard Square and walk around. Have brunch at Upstairs on the Square.
Take a walk around Walden Pond in Concord, MA

Try to catch a Bruins or a Celtics game-Boston is a great sports town! Even if you can't get to the game, go down to the bars around the Garden (Boston Beer Works, etc.), they have a great atmosphere for relaxing and watching a game. You can go ice skating at the Frog Pond, or if you can get to some of the more residential areas by T (Jamaica Plain, Somerville, etc.) you can find some places to go sledding. There are lots of shops in Downtown Crossing and on Newbury Street to walk to, and tons of bars and coffeeshops to warm up in!
Have Fun!
