Need a fab hotel to stay at in Barcelona?

Been lloking at trip adviser but still not sure where to stay. Anyone been lately and stayed at a 4/5 star hotel that was any good with a large room?

The advice on Tripadvisor is usually good so you can't do too bad. The rooms are usually not very large though.

A great place is Le Meridien..telephone 0034 933 186200.
It's situated on La Rambla is 5***** and that's usually where the 'famous' stay. Madonna and Michael Jackson have stayed there.
Plush, great service, great location and expensive!

Try Hotel Florida if you're more bothered about the hotel than the location (it's a bit out of the way) - was voted 8th best hotel in the world by GQ men's magazine for 2008.
