What are some cool things to do in Barcelona?

Something from your experience would help that we don't end in the typical tour guide tourist traps.

A nice stroll along the Ramblas and sneak off for a nice drink /meal in the back street, dont eat on the Ramblas as its too expensive.
I also went to Monseratt for the day and you can get a cable car to the top of the very high mountain and to the monastary, the views from there are beautful and the villiage at the top is enchanting.

If you really are on a budget then you can hit the beach and thats the beauty of Barcelona, you have the mountains not far away, the cosmopolitian vibrant city and the beach near by.. so theres something to suit everyone. You also have the Gaudi stuff to see if your into art which can be seen dotted around the city, in parks and of course the segrada familia (or however you spell it) Get a lonley plant guide - there great.

Oh and if your into footy then theres the stadium
