Although the Millenium is one of the best hotels in Bangkok there are plenty of others.

I never stayed but pass this hotel every day. I have stayed there a couple of times. By Asok Sky Train and mainline station.Staff are great and the rooms are spot on, has movie channels and what I like is the Bath with speakers and you can still watch TV.
Dont forget your key card as you have to use it for lift to get access.
Food is very good but a little expensive. Walk down the road 100m and there are some good bars and clubs and also streer sellers who do great Thai Food.
