can anybody recommend a reasonably priced hotel close hualamphong station,bangkok?i'll be there mid december.?

What does reasonably priced actually mean to you? Not everyone has the same price in mind that they think is "reasonable!"

You don't have to stay near the train station because you could also stay in the Sukhumvit Road area where you have access to the Skytrain and subway. The subway goes direct to the train station! More hotel choices in Sukhumvit Road area plus more things to do in the evening.

Hi, when I am in Bangkok and need to catch an early train from Hualamphong station I stay at the Train inn.
It's a great place for the one night stay and walking distance to the station.

One that I can recommend for the restaurant is the Grand China Princess. The top floor has a section that rotates (very slowly) so that you get different views of Bangkok. It's great at night.
