Of course it's good, now of the best. It's 5 star. Are you a troll?
NMS again does not know what he is talking about. You can take the Skytrain to and from theThaksin Station to many shopping locations. A boat from the hotel will take you across the river to the station or back to your hotel. |

Peninsula Bangkok Hotel in Bangkok is said to be one of the finest five star hotels of the city. It has won several accolades including "World´s Best Hotel" in 2003 by the readers of Travel + Leisure magazine and recently by Conde Nast Traveler (USA) 2007 Gold List No. 1 - The Best Hotel in Bangkok and also voted No. 3 in Asia by Travel + Leisure (USA).

It's not just a good hotel in Bangkok, it's one of the best hotels anywhere in the world. It was ranked the best hotel in the world a few years ago by Travel and Leisure Magazine and is still consistently rated among the top ten hotels in the world. I live in Bangkok and have no need to stay in hotels, but a couple of friends who have stayed there have said it's the best hotel they've ever stayed in. The Peninsula and the Oriental are considered by many to be the top two hotels in Bangkok.

The Peninsula hotel is one of the 3 best hotels in Bangkok. The 2 other ones are the Oriental and the Shangri-La.
However, the Peninsula has the worst location of the 3. It is the only one that is across the River. So to go to the city center from this hotel, you will need to take a boat or take a taxi to cross the bridge. |

yes it's good but location is a bit more far fr the shopping area as u hv to across the river everytime back & forth. u know BKK has serious traffic jam day & nite. i'd had a jam fr Siam back to my htl 4 over an hr!! normally it's just take me 15 mins taxi! so try to use their skytrain more even thou u dun wanna walk up & down. especially during their peak hrs. the peninsula itself is good & modern. but they dun hv a skytrain station nearby. maybe u can try the opp. hotel shangri-la..... they r on the same level + shangri-la has the train's station just rite next to it.
