Default Hi everyone! What is the hotel with the best view in Bangkok?

City, river, whatever. Not looking to cheap out on this one, and would appreciate opinions.
Thanks :)

Probably Le Bua, they also have an open-air restaurant and bar over 60 floors high overlooking the river and the city;

Most of the high rise hotels will offer good views, especially the one's on the river, like the Peninsula, Millenium Hilton and the Royal Orchid Sheraton, the Shangri La and the Oriental also offer good views of the river but are not as tall. The Baiyoke Sky Hotel is the tallest hotel in Bangkok, has an observation deck and bar, but is away from the river and not as nice as the others. Have fun.

I'd say "Shangri-la" hotel (http://www.shangri-la.com/en/property/bangkok/shangrila).
It's nearby the Chaophaya river.

Baiyoke Sky is the TALLEST building in Thailand - so try that one. But... there are many high rise hotels in Bangkok so do a little search on the net to get some idea but make sure to ask for the room with a view as some - while it is high - may be next to another building which means you don't have a true panoramic view.

For a good hotel with a view AND direst access to the MBK shopping centre and then to the rest of the biggest shopping area in the centre of Bangkok - try the Prathumwan Princess.

Try this link for a large list of hotels (with photos )

hope this helps

Cheese to you.
