24hrs each in Baltimore and Philadelphia: fun things to do?

My wife and I will be in both cities in the next week, and need to know the fun and/or necessary things to do there. Not necessarily the most touristy, but the stuff the locals like to do and the places they like to go. We really like good pubs and eclectic/funky neighborhoods and hangouts, so extra credit to answers that include the like.

South Street in Philly is a MUST.


And so is Drexel on 33rd and market, come on Friday or Saturday for a party.
