Why would you use a taxi? It would surely cost a fourtune as in over $75 one way. There is a DC Metrobus line directly from the BWI airport terminal which connects you to the Metrorail system that takes you Downtown quickly and for under $5 total. The transit system in the DC region is vast and can get you just about anywhere a lot quicker and less expensively than a taxi. Good Luck!

Unfortunately, Super Shuttle also closes down before the end of the flight day.
Remember that there are many good ground transport options if you are arriving during the day, including the MARC train on weekdays (which takes you to Union Station, just 2 stops from the Red Roof Inn) Super Shuttle costs $35 (Plus a tip) and their web site does not say how late they are open. But I've arrived at 11:00 PM and found them closed at Dulles. They are a great choice if you can. Estimated taxi rate is $79 to downtown Washington, DC. This does not include a tip. Here is BWI's web site. Ground Transportation is in the links at the top. |
