There are lots of meter parking near the aquarium at those cross streets between Pratt and Lombard. They may even be free on Saturday. But in any case, they cost only 1 dollar an hour. But pick those with Pay it Here signs. They accept credit card and have longer parking length, like 3 hours. Those old ones only taking coins, some of them have 1 hour maximum. There are also garages nearby, but don't know how much they cost.

Forget about cheap or on-street parking on a warm Saturday. The area will be packed! Unless you park considerably far away, you'll have to use one the pay garages. There's one I've used about two blocks from the Aquarium which is noted below. It's far from cheap, but at least it's a place to park.
Here's what the National Aquarium says about parking: http://www.aqua.org/parking.html Also, have you considered reserving your tickets in advance? The ticket lines can be long for those who haven't! |
