advice on travelling australia?i have a few question!help?

hi, so im planning to go to oz in 1 yr, my mates are over there and im following them but i want to save the money.we are planning on travelling the country sleeping in the car, tents, hostels!(when i get over there)

Money depends on how you live Petrol you pay about $1 a litre in Queensland more in the out back bring a pillow and a light sleeping bag . insect repellent you can buy here plus 100% tea tree oil for if you get a mozzie bite. You can stay in hostels about $20 a night. then you need food You will want an esky[chilly bin ]to carry food in .Shop in supermarkets. Bring your swim wear hat sunglasses. Australia is a very big country if you want nightlife and beaches come to the Gold Coast. Never travel with your money in one place bring a bank card that will work here. Never leave personal belongings on the beach un attended.

money depends on how long you plan on staying? sydney has a back packers pub/club called "the scubar" cheep drinks great club they have theme parties on a weekly basis and give away prizes to travel australia!! in central you can rent a room at the maze (backpacker hostel) aswell they have all different tyes of rooms so you can all bunk together and take you out on tours its all young people not old and boring they do crab racing and everything lol i will post their websites for you and you can check them out =D

plus sydney isnt far from the blue mountains (1hour train ride) you can camp there ride the senic railway (the worlds steepest railway) visit the three sisters go on the old steam trains see all the great look outs..
