I bought a 3wireless Internet router from England, worldwide use? Want to travel around Australia, next year.?

I am not sure whether three will have the best coverage is my wireless router locked to 3. Could I get an operation look whilst say in Thailand :-)?
cant I fix it in tai land to take another net work-? 3 dontt have coverage around aus as good as maybe telstra who might have different coverage areas?it was pre paid on a mounth contract..if i can buy a net work card from were I am would be handi, they did not say weather it was fixed.....

Pick up an Optus one, when you get there. They work the same and it's Pay-as-you-Go, so you never use more than what you can afford.
